① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

 It snowed the night of their wedding.

Gentle flakes passed frosted glass windows glowing in candlelight. The hem of her dress dragged heavily through the thinly coated grass when she burst from a side-door of the brightly lit plantation, laughter on her lips and bridegroom nipping at her heels. Her hair cascaded down in gentle waves to frame her face as it fell from its loosely held bun and she lost a shoe as she dived behind a small grove of trees and started to climb.

"Come now, surely you can go faster than that!" Grace called down from her perch. "Or are you too old to be chasing after innocent women in this weather?"

Dorian stopped at the base of the tree and rubbed at his chin. "I don’t see any innocent women about, my love."

Grace grinned and kicked snow from the branch into his pale face. "And I don't see how this is my fault."

"Mayhaps I can remind you."

"You must catch me first."

Dorian's eyes sparked and he gave the tree a hard shake that sent Grace toppling into his arms with a startled yelp. "Indeed, my dearest?" he said with a playful smirk. "I think you'll find I already have."

1) I am taking two summer courses, one in Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing which is SO MUCH STRESS, and another in Phonology which is just plain fun tbh.
2) My boyfriend is about to be put on non-work status which is good news and bad. Good because HE WILL IMPROVE EMOTIONALLY SO MUCH, bad because at some point if he doesn't find another job before he gets called back, rent is going to become SO UNCOMFORTABLE.
3) I need to do better at finding a second job. 25 hours a week ain't cutting it. No matter how much I adore my job and have no intention of leaving any time soon.
4) I'm taking the GREs in two weeks and feel PAINFULLY under prepared.

Personality:
If Snow picked words to describe herself, they would be: playful, determined, feisty, optimistic, fair and just. Really she's downright sarcastic, slightly pessimistic, and deeply loyal. She isn't quick to trust anymore. People don't always deserve it, something she learned the hardest of ways time and time again. Neither Mary Margaret nor Snow believe in fairy tales or wish fulfillment and they certainly don't always know who is on their side in a fight, but they both will fight for others.

Otherwise Snow and Mary are as different as night and day. Snow is used to being front and center and heard. Mary prefers peace and quiet and being unobtrusive and not stepping on anyone's toes. Snow will take a sword to you if she feels threatened, Mary, Mary would call for help and try to protect those around her without charging into the fray.

Behind all her snappy comebacks and her fierce determination however, Snow is scared. She is so, so frightened of the way the world is and what might happen to the people she loves in it. Things hurt her that she might not let others see.

And if you ever, ever try to hurt anyone she loves, she will find you, and you will not like the consequences.
